I'm not sure I agree (sorry!), whilst the actions of doing a shut down at 50 metres may be exactly the same as doing at 6, arguably easier because of the reduced change in your bouyancy, your head will be telling you something completely different.

How many people can walk across a plank of wood that's lying flat on the ground without a stumble or issue. Put that same plank between two buildings a couple of stories up, would they be just as succesful or confident?
