I didn't know there was a course for it.


My first experience was when I started diving at first and my buddy got swept off the shot line on ascent.

Have had loads of solo dives since, some were not supposed to be but ended up that way, bad viz and such. Some were intended that way. The one I did on Sunday was an example. To be frank, I have enjoyed diving with some buddies whilst others were a nightmare.

Am always more relaxed diving solo and my air consumption is far less. I do feel a heightened sense of awareness/caution which is useful, also my planning is more meticulous.

Perhaps a course would be a good idea.
