Dude on our course was in his mid 40s, is now working his backside off up in Scotland.

As long as you are fit and healthy and can hack the pace of working on what is really just an underwater building site, you'll be right.

I've met some pants younger divers too - was offshore last yr and at least 2/3 of the guys on the team had to finish dives early because they 'had cramp' - which is really just code for 'I chain smoke, don't exercise, but still think I can spent 2 hours finning around'.
