welcome to yd. Pretty much anything and everything goes on here - have a look under the forums tab (top RHS), choose the appropriate place and post away - it doesn't even have to be diving related!!
The hardest thing to get across in an electronic format is sense / intent. To add for interpertation, TIC = Tongue in Cheeck (not seroious), LOL = Laughing out Loud, etc etc etc. Smileys can also be used for this purpose, and you'll see lots scattered around
Talking about diving is what we do lots of, rather than offend I think you'll be wishing we'd shut-up
