but it still doesn't convince me that DIR can't except RB's and they will in time. First it was big no-no, now its a 'we're looking at it', i've heard this many times across many fields. Its the way tech diving is going in the long-term, GUE will go too. When it gets to a stage where DIR-GUE are the last fat boy being picked for football, then they'll join up.

and who would disagree with you? Most DIR divers I know stay aware of thwta is happening in the CCR world, becuase we know the future has to at least include them, even for DIR diving. The only reason we don't use them now is we don't believe the technology is in place to make them as safe as we would want them to be. In 5-10 years I would hope they would be.
