becuase we're playing the numbers. the right post is by far the most likely one to fail, as its our active breathing reg AND our active buoyancy reg. So, the drill we use takes this into consideration. we hear bubbles, we shut down right post. If we're wrong and it's not that valve, then by the time you finish shutting it down, your team will be in place, slapping your hands away, and taking over, as they can see what is going on.
