would your buddies not be aware of your light not being around, on most UK dives its one of the obvious ways i know where my buddy is from peripheral vision, if his light stops being were i'm expecting it i automatically turn my head to look for him, more of a naturaly instinct than anything learnt from training. Kind of the same if your walking along talking to some one and then suddenly there not talking anymore, you istinctively look for them, probably the pack mentality from our simian past. | I meant physically .... I suspect that the light cord would throttle me if I tried to reach the manifold, if I had it in my left hand (which is where I would) let alone be able to easily manipulate the valve.... I would normally pass it to my right hand but that's busy shutting down the right post, so what do I do? drop it? clip it off? I genuinely can't see how it'd work
