I have the canister on the harness waistbelt and the head is clipped on to the right-side D ring but the cable just dangles! Not neat and something of a snag hazard.

What is the best configuration for this? Any help would be appreciated.
Yep, tuck it under the waistbelt but make sure you don't trap the long hose. The next question, is how long do you have the torch clipped off for? Long time, stow the cord, short time, can't be bothered!!

Son, you're going to have to make up your mind about growing up and becoming aircrew. You can't do both.

The aircraft limits are only there in case there is another flight by that particular aircraft. If subsequent flights do not appear likely, there are no limits.
