EDIT: Bear in mind there are two and sometimes three fans. CPU fan is mounted on the processor main fan is at the back of the PC.

I've opened up the side and hoovered in and around everywhere and it is now making a noise and draft again
Tomorrow I'll see if I can work out what I need to replace and look at that link. I wouldn't hold much hope for me doing this though "Always wear a static electricity discharge strap when working with your PC's components "
