Bought a Canon Case for my Ixus70

Hello All,
thanks for the feedback, it helped a lot making a decision on which case to get… In the end I purchased a Canon Case because of the following reasons, my logic might be useful to others..…

I love the Ixus70 because of its size, easy to fit in the pocket (my SLR has been in the cupboard for yrs) and the Canon case just extended that concept..

I’m a beginner and in all likelihood, if I like it enough I’ll upgrade, so best not invest too much when I don’t know the intricacies of U/W photograph.. The Canon case is compatiable with the third party lenses so I might invest in these next…

40m depth rating will probably do me, I’m still a relatively inexperienced diver and my depth is going to be within this range for the foreseeable future..Don’t want to task overload if I do go deeper!

Cost, at Cameras underwater in London the case was £120 which is as cheap as the internet and with my £60 Ixus 70 from ebay I’ve got myself a 7m pixel U/W package for £170.. ohh.. I bought a O ring for £15 as well..…

I’d definitely recommend Cameras Underwater in London, good info, advice and you can try out most of the kit if u ring in advance… Thanks Eva…

One thing I did notice…I liked the Ixus75 screen at 3inches in size… looked noticeable bigger than my 2.5” but then again the buttons looked a little crowded because of it…

Wish me luck!!!

JohnOH..

Ps I’ll just have to bite my lip when kit envy kicks in on the boat and the Ikelite case did look quality…
