My guess is that it could be convenient alternative if you felt that back gas or suit inflation bottle failures were likely to be common....but I don't think they are.

In the ocean, your option is to just ascend and if you needed to put any gas in your wing then I'd do that orally rather than try to plumb in my deco gas .... I'd rather save that for breathing I don't think suit inflation would be needed though.

In a cave where an exit requires a descent before an ascent then you either have to sweat it out in the drysuit or get a buddy to share their inflation gas.

Overall the small risk of needing it is outweighed by the possible problems of fitting one.

Maintaining "swappability" between your wing inflator and suit inflator is a good idea though and gives some additional options.
