the question is: i need a new zip, wanna p-valve put in it as well (lotta cave diving to do), braces need repairing...down here in oz that'll set me back thick end of 350-400GBP ($800-900AUD).

i also need to replace the (exceptionally ragged) otter undersuit - more holes than swiss cheese. more money.

now i luv my otter, but just how long should i keep trying to resuscitate the poor old gal ? should i bite the bullet and order a new suit (in which case the othree looks a go-er), or should i continue to do the bi-annual repairs (zips mainly, heaps of diving every year) and treat her right ?

I can beat that - over 8 years and mine was their basic model. Always surprises if I have to send it in for repair as its still in great nick.

However, like Triggers broom from Only Fools and Horses, I've had the same suit for years and its as good today as it was new. I've only had 2 x replacement zips, 1 pair of replacement boots, 2 x pairs of cuff seals, 1 x neck seal, a seam repair, new cuff dump, new inflator valve and 2 pairs of braces.

Apart from the above its like new.
