I use a metal sub so it will never go on my waist belt the battery is fixed to right hand cylinder plug pointing down cable comes under my right arm along with spg and is clipped off to the d ring on my shoulder adjustment strap this having a bit of slack mean it's not often i have to unclip it never bothered with a goodman handle yet
