Smile Sunny morning at Babbacombe

I have finally seen my first cuttlefish! Pale green, shimmering and elegant. How can people possibly eat them! We arrived at 7.45 and it was flat calm, sunny and warm. The tide was coming in and I was all ready. Then I discovered that I'd forgotten my drysuit..... Oh dear. Frosty, my hero as usual, went all the way home for it without a single moan (he probably swore when out of earshot and I don't blame him!) Went in, finally, with Odin and the vis was really good - 4-5m (sorry Sipadan!) We saw loads of crabs, blennies, wrasse, fry, lovely tubeworms and the usual beautiful Babbacombe flora. My exit was even more clumsy than the entry had been. I apologise to the people sitting at the shoreside cafe who choked on their lemonades at my ridiculous efforts to de-kit in the surf and stand up. Must work on maintaining some degree of dignity. All in all, it was a great dive. Thanks, Odin and Frosty! And thank you wee cuttlefish.
