| More bad news. From the RTE website:
The body of a woman diver has been recovered from the sea off Arranmore Island, Co Donegal. The unmarried woman, who is in her 40s and from the Manchester area, was diving with friends yesterday afternoon when she encountered difficulties as she surfaced just off the island. The alarm was raised at around 1pm and a major rescue operation got under way. Two diving units from Dundalk who were in the locality also joined the search. The search was called off as darkness fell and resumed again at first light this morning. The woman's body was recovered after 10am in waters about 15m deep just a short area from where she had been diving by members of the Sheephaven Sub Aqua Club.
Thoughts are with family and friends.
