UK Light Canon rechargeable flood

after years of use..my Light Canon flooded in salt water..it was fine during the dive and must have flooded after I switched it off on the way up..so it sat in my dive box for a week before I took it out and spotted the rusty sludge...
SO, I bunged everything in fresh water and changed it a few times...what's the verdict? Batteries maybe worth trying a charge after drying out? Electronics worth ultrasound cleaning?

Or bin it and buy a new one????

Anyone ever resurrected a sea water flooded rechargeable Light Canon?
