You can shorten the existing inflator hose. You need this part A.P.Valves

All you need is 2 spanners and a knife. Cut the hose down to size and then stick the new bit on. I can't remember if inflator hoses are 3/8 but if not, then you can change the other end with this fitting instead:

A.P.Valves

they are about £10 each, so cheaper than a new hose. . . .
