Not the end of the world though.

At least it was OK with the old stubby 21W bulbs. When I smashed a test tube on entering the water once, the bulb was fine and the ballast is potted so no problem there either. Just had to resort to my backup during the dive.

Oh, and I clean my o-ring by licking it
