I agree totally. It's likely they're aimed at a market for divers that wouldn't normally get into rebreathers, i.e. many recreational divers. The newer units aren't really designed for deeper stuff or long scrubber duration. They are smaller and lighter therefore it might encourage more women into rebreather diving which would be great. They are certainly going to be fantastic for people who do lots of dive hols or shallow UK stuff. |
