Angry Buddy Tek Wing - set up "issues"

One size fits all?

I'm trying to adjust my Tek wing to fit comfortably over the shoulders but am finding that the pinch releases sit right on my shoulder bone............basically the harness loops around my shoulders and down and back without any obvious place for the pich clips to sit....all very hard to explain!

any helpful advice, as always, gratefully received!

You may not want to hear this, but, I found the tekwing harness crap. Change it for a one piece harness and you'll get on much better with it!! HTH

You can adjust the position of the pinch clips by sliding them along the webbing - you should be able to find a position that works for you (mine are at about nipple level, with the d-rings immediately above them).

Having said that I'm in the process of switching to a one-piece harness...

....the D ring seems to be fixed to the upper web strap by a sewn loop so that you cannot extend it down to be near the pinch clip.

All very hard to explain but thanks for the advice!
Maybe I can add another D ..............

I meant the metal d-ring, not the plastic ones you pull on to tighten the harness up. The metal ones are just held in place with triglides, not sewn - unless they've changed the harness design in the last few months.

EDIT: look at the strap on this one to see what I mean...

Unhappy ..to continue my "problem"

the D rings on the shoulder straps are fixed by a sewn loop of webbing so that the distance between the back plate and the D ring is fixed (there is a triglide also for good measure)......so the D ring sits too high up on top of my shoulder......darn itttttt

how do I rig up a Doing It Simple harness?

Thumbs up ..actually I feel a complete twat..

the D rings look as though they are sewn to the shoulder strap but they are not....The webbing is looped through them and then through one slot of the retainer.....this is probably very boring. The nice people at Runnymede put me straight.

Thanks for all the help!
