| Handy Harness Hint I've never liked the way the webbing goes over the top of the plate- it always seems to be a fret point. Not the DIR chaps put lots of bits of inner tube on the harness and let them take the fretting but as an engineering solution, rubber as a barrier to stop fretting is crap. So- in a flash of inspiration here is the Woz solution which I expect to see on everyone's harness before next weekend. And the good thing is you don't even need to unthread your existing one. Just pop a couple of inches of webbing through the slot and secure with a couple of tie wraps (you can see a completed one on the right with the black tie wraps). Make sure the knobbly bit on the tie wraps is in the position shown then you won't get any more fretting. BTW this is a 5mm WozPlate. Mmmmmm shiny. ![]() ![]()

Ignore them young Woz. You are a man of genius and generosity to to the unworthy. You are just not recognised in your own kingdom. Jim (Still after the 10% reduction. Don't fancy the licking all over bit.) |

And yes the cost of the webbing is nowt but unthreading the bloody thing takes ages. And my plates are supplied as cut so you can finish them as much as you like. And there is more than enough webbing (5m) in a harness kit to add these bits. Even if you are a fattie and need yards.
