| 100lb or 45lb Wing I've got a chance of getting a bungeed 100lb wing at a good price - ideally I was after a bungeed 45lb wing for use with twin 10 232's but cannot get hold of the one I want for a few weeks. Arguments about bungeed/unbungeed wings aside, is 100lb too big - is there a problem with using a wing with this much lift on a twin 10 set up? It's is unlikely I will need to use stages in the future, though you never know. It's only going to be used for UK diving. I have another wing for travelling/using with singles. All thoughts/comments would be gratefully received. Graeme |

| 100lb wing, cool use it for SI as a lilo for all the family |

| In short, and IHMO, yes it's too big. I use a 55 with twin 12s and multiple stages, and the DIR guys I know shake their heads sadly at my ignorance every time they see me. For them 40lb is big enough for the same config. So a 45lb wing is more than enough for twin 10's, even if you did go to stages. |

| Sorry, we were jesting, being a slow day etc. I am using a Dive Rite Rec wing with twin 12s and have more than enough lift. I've seen enough people with similar rigs and stages to feel comfortable that it would be enough for those applications as well

| I have a 100lb, well actually they are only 94lb bungied wing and I have it on twin 7's, doesn't make any difference to me. It's great when waiting around for the boat to pick you up. |

| Personally (but what do i know) i would say 100 is over the top, i've used my 55 with twin 12's and stage and think that could be a little big. BUT. if its a good price then get it, you can always flog it on later when the one you want comes up at the right price and at least you have a wing to use until then. |

40lbs Wing for me, has supported me, twin 12s and two 7l stages. Not sure it would have also supported a buddy in distress, though. Need to try that one. dan |

| my old 55lb wing carries 2 X 12L main and 2 X 7L stages (all of these steel cylinders). If you want more stages or bigger stages, yes then 100 lb lift would be useful. my current wing is the OMS bungee'd 94lb monstrosity. if, like me, you're happy with using a bungee'd wing, then this is great for resting at the surface, PLUS you can use it with lots of configurations because of the bungee vid
