| With mine I have an ordinary standard weightbelt, goes on before the wing and the crutch strap holds it on as a secondary method. Some use V or P weights, depends on if you want ditchable or not, I like some ditchable weights. I use the belt for single or twin tank diving, I particularly like it as I can remove/add weight as befits the cylinder(s), especially if I add a side slung 3L as pony or stage as I can move the lead about as required. Or as last week I strapped on a monster torch to my harness waist band so countered it by removing lead from one side of the weightbelt. Matt |

| Hey Tak, I use a Halcyon single tank wing and just put a normal weightbelt (though much lighter thanks to the SS plate and STA) on which goes under the crotch strap. Works alright for me and doesn't cost much either

| 4 choices on weight 1. standard belt 2. Harness 3. Pouches (attatached to wing harness) 4 no dumpable weights (v weights etc) I go for option 3 having tried 1, although I am tempted by 4. If you have a belt/harness etc already stick to that until you are used to the wing and then try the alternatives. Personally I like option 3 as it is less to strap on that 2, more cofortable than 1 and is dumpable unlike 4. Hope this helps Conor

| I've modified my wing waist strap to accommodate a pouch either side which I can put a few kilo's in when sea diving if needed. If diving my twin 10's in freshwater, I don't have any ditchable weights , but do have 3.7kg V weights. If diving my twin 12's in the sea I don't need any ditchable weights and just larger V weights again. Steve

| Tak V-Weights: I got some a few weeks back from Portland Oceaneering. They cost roughly £3 per 1kg block. Some info for you here. Neil |
