Apeks WTX range

I'm looking for a new wing system that I can use with either single 10s or12s if on hols, or combine up to 2x15ls over here. I have just come across the Apeks WTX range and they claim it is ideal for my requirements.

Anyone any experience of this kit?

Looks pretty much like the Dive Rite range (or for that matter the OMS range) oh, except they seem to have forgottten the bungees.

Looks like nice kit....although the singles wing looks a little like something out of a christmas cracker.

I'd be torn between buying Dive Rite (the original and the best soft backed harness IMHO) or Supporting Apeks who are a good company with good customer service.

At the end of the day a Harness is a harness and a wing is a wing. they are generally interchangeable across manufacturers. Choose the Harness that suits and then the wing that suits (at the end of the day Price is probably going to be the deciding factor)

I noted the similarity and have a diverite system. Thing is, it is too big so privce is now the main factor...
Cheers,

I guess for the range of situations you are talking about single 10 to twin 15s then you are probably looking at 2 air cells and probably one of the lighter harnesses for travelling?

If you have a deiverite set up, does that mea you already have one aircell?

Yep, I have a recwing. I was trying to sell the lot but will prob cut my losses: keep the aircell and get a new harness. Tempted with a basic harness and backplate but like the Apeks / Transpac as it has the soft material ideal for travelling / singles and can have a steel plate fitted as and when.

I noticed that. In fact the WTX soft Harness being able to accept a back plate does kind of make it a great option....although you kind of have that option with a TPII its more of a fudge
