Hello all.

Am getting a S/S backplate soon, but till then, is it ok to bolt the twins onto a plastic back plate?  I presume the round dents on the back plate are for this.  Is this the case?

That is actually what they're put there for.
You can add some big steel washers to even out the strain a bit, but the plastic is supposed to be tough enough to take the weight unaided.
I stuck with cambands when I was using the Buddy plate myself tho...
