Imported post I went for the IQ harness which obviates the need for the STA, just in case you were asking as a pre-purchase question

Imported post I use one. It has worked well in all situations. I usually dive single tanks with and "H" valve, and I can still manage the valve shutdown drill with the STA. Regards, Charles

I was looking into getting an oms STA; that is until I looked at the price at my LDS. £72, and that was with a discount!! Was recommended portland oceaneering. £25 for two STA plates, £18 for the two cam bands. Job done! Hmm well not quite...if anyone is interested in getting them, make sure you request at least a 30mm bolt on each (they are welded into the plates) because for some reason their standard size is 20mm. And you've got no chance at getting that through your backplate, harness and wing; as muggins here found out. But afte returning them, replacements were sent, no hassle. Steve
