Sorry for the duplicate post (on DIR forum too) but...

...I've just spotted the Halcyon Eclipse 40 full system on DIRdirect.com for £295

I'm not trying to assimilate anyone to DIR as I am from the Frank Sinatra School of Diving "i Dived It My-way" (DIM) but at £295 that's very cheap!

Alternatively, for about half that price, you can get a Buddy wing that's just as tough, a Combro backplate, and build a complete rig yourself

<font color='#000080'>Also have a look at Agir Brokk kit- almost identical to Halcyon kit. 50lb wing 215 quid, or just over 300 for backplate and harness as well. www.agir-brokk.com

40lb eclipse is too big, thats why they are selling them off. The 30lb is better.

Dominic,

Any info on doing this on your web site?

I come from a lazy school of &quot;buy it ready to go&quot; BUT I need another wing and finances are tighter than my old jeans around my new stomach.

Piecing together a wing from individually bought component parts at a cheaper price than an &quot;off the shelf&quot; object. There MUST be a site somewhere where I can be lazy and follow in other peoples footsteps and advice.

I need a new wing for extra lift (up to twin12s + stage cylinder(s)) - my current Mares wing is only rated to twin 10s.

I would like a quick release option for the cylinders. I need to stow away all the danglies. I'm prepared to risk QR shoulder clips in order to facilitate getting my aged frame in and out easily.

Oh, if it could carry itseld to and from the dive site that would be a bonus. &nbsp;
