| Imported post One other thought that occurs to me - there have been several times when I've thought I had everything set up "just right" and didn't want to fiddle with it any more. It wasn't perfect, it had problems, but I thought it was as it should be. Each time, I've come across some small point of information that made me realise that in fact, I had got it all wrong - backplate too high, shoulder straps too loose, etc etc. I've even had to resort to buying new webbing and starting again from scratch. Because a wing & harness aren't too easy to adjust, it's easy to fall into the "it's good enough" trap. We resist changing it because we worry that it will mess it all up and we'll have to start over from scratch. But every time I made the adjustments, it made the rig more comfortable. Just a few inches here and there can completely transform your rig. Resist the urge to resist tinkering - take your rig to a swimming pool or a shallow inland site and play around with adjusting things. You might be surprised

| Imported post <font color='#000080'>Good lad. BCDs are the future, especially for twin manifolded 7's. I've got an XL Buddy Pioneer TD with twin 7's and it's like putting on a dressing gown- lovely and comfy with those handy pocket things you don't get on a wing. With over 40 lb lift with an XL Buddy BCD it is big enough for twin 10's too.

| Imported post Whilst that looks exactly as most online guides recommend you rig your harness, I found it very uncomfortable when I had my rig like that. Mainly because it means you have a stomach strap instead of a waist strap So, try dropping the whole rig an inch or two - my waist strap is at the same height as my belt when I wear jeans..

| Imported post Cheers Dominic, The only thing that concerns me about dropping the whole thing a couple of inches, well there's 2 actually, is the position of the inflator which sits quite high (almost on the soulder) at the moment although I do have a longer one on order. Plus if it is dropped won't the valves be difficult to reach or am I being silly and missing something? Cheers, Noel
