Question Whats up with Custom Divers Wings??

Hey All,

Just a little bit curious as to why there are sooo many of these things for sale, are they a bit s**t? or are they brill and soooo many people have them that there just are lots going second hand?

Wanted to know as i need a new wing, my rig sinks by its self and its a little disconcerting thinking of that much money sinking if some one on the rib lets go

I kinda want a 60lb oms wing or possible a frog midnight but a few of the CD TDB and TCW are coming up cheapish so i was just wondering why?

Also slight side note is the oms 100/94lb any really any larger than the 60lb one?

Cheers for any help,
Pete

I have the TDB and its fine, it might be cos a lot of people are going down the darkside and need a 40lb unbungied.

I like mine for the fact i can dive the twin 12s and when at the surface waiting for the boat I can use it as a sofa.

i had a CD wing and it was fantastic - i only sold it as i went to a rebreather.

i think the the ones up for sale are most likely from peeps going DIR - they dont like bungeed wings

knowing what i know now, i might of kept it and used it and the back plate instead of the inspiration wing, plate and harness

they're excellent pieces of kit, hence why they call them the TDB and the TCW

I had a TCW and it was great.... Only sold it as I got offered an OMS IQ set cheap... I prefer the IQ but the CD wing was so good I stole the inflator and pull dump off for my OMS as it was better....good lift and pretty comfortable, once I'd got rid of those billy rings...boy did they stick in my back...

This one at this price is a steal..... you could dive it for 12 months and still get your money back... best be quick though...

Custom Diver TBD wing, S/S back plate, harness and pad. on eBay, also, Buoyancy Compensators, SCUBA Snorkelling, Sporting Goods (end time 03-Feb-08 13:14:42 GMT)
