Stainless Backplate - Which One?

I've recently aquired a brand new AP Valves wing from a Draeger Dolphin and was thinking about using it for a single cylinder wing. Can anyone offer any advice on the best options for backplates? I already have a CD stainless backplate on my other set up, but I'm hoping that I can get something similar for a better price.

Thanks

There isn't anything better than the CD back plate

Those slots that make it so easy to mount tanks and the ones at the side for suit inflation bottles.. does any one else have that attention to detail?

It relay annoys me having to use STA's and special mounting kits with other back plates.

Thanks for the reply Mark. I've been looking at different options and CD sell tank stabilising brackets for single cylinder use - do you think they aren't really needed with their backplate design? I was originally thinking about machining two plastic brackets which would bolt through the backplate and use a single camband to secure the cylinder, but if anyone else has a better solution I would be interested.

Thanks

Cd

I second that.

Custom Divers backplate is the business

Definately no need for a single tank adapter.

Cheers Stewart, I presume if I don't machine/use the brackets that I'll need to use two cam bands to stop any 'wobble' though?

Cheers

The best plate in the whole wide world is a Woz plate mk3 with a double bend in the back so no STA, you can camband a twinset to it (or use stainless bands), it is deep enough so you don't have to use silly mushroom bolts and you can have your name and some fancy artwork bead blasted into it.

Crying shame they're not made any more due to lack of demand.

The reversed groove is more than adequate for holding a single in place i have never used a STA of any type with my CD wing/plate and my old rig was quite heavy.
