Whether you go for bungeed or not, or whether it is a one piece harness or has break points should be to your own choice. You will find arguments for and against all of the various options here in the forum, and all have their merits. Ultimately you should go with what you are comfortable with. If possible, borrow / try several different types of rig before buying. If you are in a club, talk to the other members about their kit, and ask for reasons why they have it like they do. Listen to their opinions then make up your own mind and go for what suits you. Cheers, John |

I use cambands & don't have a metal backplate, and I find the setup very comfortable & easy to dive with. |

| Picked up a redwing cheap 2nd hand and used it with a backplate and simple harness, it was my first break from jacket BCD's. Wing performed well and only ever used it with a single tank, the only down side was that it used to "hot dog" (tank wrap) and I had to roll around a little to get air in the side with the inflator. Eventually cured problem by being correctly weighted Sold it on when I picked up my little 34lb Zeagle wing which I use for singles and keep an OMS dual for my twin setup. |
