Frog Indigo. Nice compact wing that will do the job nicely IMO.

    Thanks :-)
Had a look on frog website and says the indigo provides 13.65 kg lift - would this be sufficient? I've been told that when using twins there should be at least 20 kg...

i have an oms 45lb wing for my 7s which seems about right. i also have an indigo wing which i use for single cylinder diving. i don't doubt that the latter will have enought lift for twin 7s, but wonder if there's enough space for the cylinders. i may try it later.

You don't need masses of lift with twin 7s, the same amount as you need for a single should be completely adequate.

If you get a maaaaaasive wing then it will wrap around the cylinders a lot. If the wing comes up the side of the cylinders and above the horizontal (that is if the cylinder is horizontal at the time!) centreline of the tank then it's too big.

You will find that 45lb batwings stick up a lot around the sides.

Oooooh, other option is Buddy Tekwing (or Redwing) depending on what you do with it.

Dave, was the Evolve 30 designed for twin 7s? I thought it was a singles wing originally? Is there a smaller one for singles?

    Digs.

    Hi Digs

The Evolve 30 was designed for twin 7's it was never a single wing that was the eclipse.

the Evolve 30 should not be used on a single and the eclpse should not be used on twins

The Evolve 30 has the right lift, does not overly wrap around the tanks and does not get trapped between the tank and your body

I saw someone using an Evolve 30 with twin 7 euros the other day - it's a lovely setup - whether you're DIR or not. You may need a bit of tailweight with twin 7's - they tend to leave you a bit head heavy

Or use a wieght belt like 99% of divers.

With Fabor 7litre cylinders know wieght no weight belt fins that float I trim slightly feet down.

Thanks Dave. I had forgotten about the Eclipse, I thought there was a single tank wing, and that's what the Eclipse is.

I'll have to take a good look at an Evolve 30 sometime soon.
