| buddy commando plus bottle Hi - Just started diving and getting my kit together. The buddy commando seems a real popular recommendation. What are the real benefits from having the suicide bottle? Sorry to sound like a spanner! |

| None at all. I'm not using mine on the jacket but for "another project". Mine got taken off the jacket and thrown in the cupboard after it got knocked on and pinned me to the roof of a wreck. As the the BCD itself, the Commandos are ace. Indestructible. Best avoided, IMHO. If you want a good recommendation on kit and prices for starting out then PM me and I'll help you through the minefield of choice. Despite what you read on here, it's not all about diving a massive twinset, wing and backplate. Although I dive a massive twinset, wing and backplate.
