Actually, one of the definitions:

&quot;An arch-villain who is usually in league with others of the same type.&quot;

Is fairly accurate...

<font color='#000080'>My god! I'm being chased by academics on YD! When will this ever end? Heeeeeelp!

At least it' bank holiday so I feel like I'm doing much more work than everyone else at uni. Except no, instead of being sat outside having abeer, I'm sat inside having a day of YD because I hate work. Poo.

<font color='#0000FF'>Hello,

I think it's better not start again bungies VS others. If you have a problem with a wing, you should have back up, in the UK normally a dry suit and like here warm water a dual bag!

Regards

Pierre

Well, if you're in need of something else to take your mind off things, you could help me out with my own personal dilemma (I've bored Juz for about an hour today with this, now it's someone else's turn).

I may well buy a twinset tonight. I know where from, the price is right, the components are acceptable, etc etc,

The question is: 10s or 12s?

10s are looking likely at the moment, they should suffice for all the diving I'm likely to do for at least the next year (30 - 35m max, nitrox, no deco). Dry weight and buoyancy characteristics similar to my current setup.

12s are more futureproof, and you can never have too much gas. Heavier to lug about though, and the plastic plate in my (Buddy) wing might not be up to them if I bolt the set on rather than using cam bands.

Hmm... maybe I should start a poll...

<font color='#000080'>Digs,

<font color='#000080'>OK Tom, my vote says 12s. Definitely. You'll be done with 10a n no time at all, unless your air consumption is very low.

Do you really want to uby a set that will last you for the next year?

I find it's a really nice feeling to have 80bar in the tanks when I surface, instead of what woud be a lot lower with 10s. If you get the bigger tanks, you have the option, if you get smaller ones, you don't.

I'll PM you, I have an interesting deal possibly on twinsets...

Digs.

<font color='#000080'>Hi Tom,

12's I dived for years with 10's and that extra 4lt makes all the difference on the 2nd dive.

Safe diving,
Steve.

Cheers guys, that might be just the nudge I need. I really like the idea of 10s, but basic common sense is telling me 12s are the way to go.

Digger, PM on the way... now get back to work
