has anyone in to the cavediving field dived in the mines in Godstone ??
Quarry Dean or Football Field ?

If so how did you go with ? and what was it like ?

Phil Short has dived it and I'm sure he did a write up in the Newsletter. Ian Pinkstone (Welsh Section) has also dived it, he was in no-mount passage in parts of it. PM me if you want his e-mail. Sounded like good vis but I think unstable. Good luck, let us know how you get on.

Yes, it is Godstone in Surrey, by the M25. I know Ian has been in there and have heard stories of no-mount passages etc. Access is not easy. I think there is a locked gate or man-hole cover or something. Don't know how to get access, not my thing really.

Would be interested to hear if you you do get access?

Mines aren't really my thing either, especially ones you need to squeeze through. There's plenty of places where you can do that without worrying about the roof collapsing on you.

But definitely keep us posted on how you get on.
