Drowned potholer named by police


A potholer who died after he went missing in a network of caves in North Yorkshire has been named by police.

Police and rescue experts spent seven hours on Sunday searching for Colin Pryer in a series of caves in Horton-in-Ribblesdale, near Settle. On Tuesday an inquest into the 29-year-old's death was opened and adjourned. Post-mortem examinations revealed Mr Pryer, from Woodburn Street, Newcastle, had died from drowning.

I actually saw this on the main news, and it said he was diving.

F*ck. We sold him a couple of old ABLJ's for the spare parts and we have just had his cheque back "payee deceased". What a nasty way to find out that someone you have had dealings with has died. Seemed like a well switched on bloke.
