Goul du Pont Cave (Fr) -180m

Just a quicky:

20 min way in between -120 and -180 scootering, and 20 minutes way back (including deep stop) and No WOB issues, 8 hours on Boris (aka Ouroboros) in 13 celc deg (then 5 hours in a warm habitat)

Perfect Boris

But don't try that at home I do remind you that the unit is only certified to -120 !!!

Few problems with me:

1) stage tanks stuck in line at -117m

2) me stuck in old line at -135m

3) hell of a current between -120 and -180

4) scooter start making noise on the propeller shaft around -170

5) pee valve broken at -30m

6) heating jacket short circuit around -29m

7) hypothermia from -15m

8) on 60 min stop at -12 had to shunt 10 min

9) peripheric vasoconstriction at -9 so shunt 60 min and refuge inthe habitat at -6m

Fortunetly 5h in the habitat on pure O2 with hot drinks, food, and friends, warmed me up and I exited with no DCI

Usual fun

Will develop the report with photos soon on snoopyloop.com

Regards to all

Jerome

WOW, what to say except , bloody amazing.

Fabulous pictures as well. so clear it looks like Gin.

Forgive the ignorance buts what's a "peripheric vasoconstriction" ? Is it as nasty as it sounds ?

Cheers

It's when the blood vessels at your extremities close down in order to try and keep your core temperature up. Comes just before you get frostbite, and definitely NOT good for off gassing.
