It is possible to do a combined Cavern Diver and Intro to Cave course for about $750 or so. If you want to go the whole hog you could do an integrated Full Cave Diver Program for about $1500.

These look good:
Tulum Cavern Diving with Cenote Dive Center
Deep Horizon - Steve Gerrard Cave Diving Training and Guiding

All I need to do now is talk my brother in to coming with me

Cheers/Nic

Off topic - Pete why have you made so many posts in the last ten minutes? Are you trying to top 50 so that all your rep points count? Don't you have a cave to go to?

Bloody weather.

I did actually write a will on a beer mat before one trip. It was witnessed by two friends and I was later advised by a solicitor when I came to make a proper will that the one I had done already was OK.

When I went to Mexico, there was no talk of qualifications to dive the Cenotes.

I missed my Cenote dive due to food poisoning.

I did my diving through Tank-Ha in Playacar which is south of Cancun.. very nice indeed, cant wait to go back...Plus diving Cozumel is excellent for its reefs.

Cheers

Adam

.... ;-) you caught me fair and square ..

No I'm not diving this weekend ... Trying to build up some brownie points with the other half.

Was in Wales Tues/Wed .... it lashed the whole day schlepping up kit to the Silica Mine ... the wettest I've seen it

No 3 - Book in for a lobotomy - NHS is cheaper, but going private means you can start quicker!

Umm...note he seems to be booking SWMBO in for something dangerous....maybe I should be the one to see the solicitor and be absolutely sure he's signed the will plus taken out vast quantities of life insurance (ooh, perhaps the wedding certificate would be a good idea too). I may just stay outside the caverns - seems silly for both of us to get stuck in a hole..... Only joking - of course I'd not miss the chance!

If your looking for someone to just sort out the logistics and guiding then Budgie Burgess - yep budgie from Portland Hotel fame, has set himself up a small business in Mexico where he has a house to rent and can sort out your logistics.

Maybe take a look at www.divemexicocaves.com if this is what your after.
