Hi Michael,

You are really reading on all dive-related-fora aren't you

I have another question:
On plongeesouterraine there was a discussion about the Source the Vis project. Apparently the French planned some exploration dives but the EKPP-project was a few weeks earlier?

Patrik Bolagno was diving there since years. But we informed him already, when we did the checkout dive in that cave that we want to continue.
One of the reasons for a scouting team (as you also hear in Victors interview) was to check if other divers are there.
If this would have been the case we would have stepped back and just would have done Plan "C".
Now Patrik has the profile and everything, so he can add some more and then we can do it again.
Since i will be in India for a year, he has plenty of time. He then should publish his survey and so we can work together, even we we do not dive together.

Michael

Did I see one of the guys with a buddy plastic backplate on his scooter? And did you replace it with Halcyon webbing? Nice touch.

I can see why you need to be fit now. It's nothing to do with the diving, just getting to the water! You think that's bad, park in the top carpark at Stoney Cove sometime. That has to be at least 1.5km, and I'm yet to see someone running anywhere en route.

Digs.

I guess that's how it should work in an idealogically work. Unfortunately it has something to do with ego also
Anyway, the video was amazing so your dive was probably even better...
When are you leaving for India?
Does that mean no more exploration for the EKPP?

I will leave in December. I can not dive then, but one of the others of the group could try to step up.

@Digger:
These plastic BP are ONLY for carrying scooters on dry land. And they did not protest when putting the webbing on ;-)

Micha,

Since India is in Asia no excuses not to get over to Philippines (also in Asia) for some diving!

Nah - you just need a lunatic with an off road motorbike to take the cylinders down the track for you - that's what we did anyway! Trust me it was an impressive sight and distinctly more dangerous than cave diving...
