As always an excellent report Clare. Though this one seemed like a whole lot more work than the last cave report of yours I read. I think I prefer the idea of pretty caves with great vis and not too much lugging kit around

He only expressed what is the reality that the of cost of diving is what limits many of us to one degree or another.

When we did that trip in 2001, it was on a budget, you can see AK's econo gas mixer in the background in this pic.

As for borrowing kit and accruing it over the years, I'd bet that there is some common kit on both of those trips, even though they are 6 years apart

IIRC, mine are at the back against the wall and are used regularly today (bought in 1990, IIRC), and the Roths, second from the front, are down here to, plus 5 of the 7's and one of the 80's.

Talking

All that gear, new cave found???

Only joking, sounds a great time out there in the sunshine----or maybe the rain?

All this is way beyond where I go in these caves-------but please, any divers out there who only own just a few scabby cylinders, you can have a lovely time in these caves, not going as far, but not spending as much brass, and not getting as knackered getting your gear in the water :-)

Seriously Clare, well done on your 'mission'

Cheers, Malcolm.

Quick extra post, is Doux de Coly now open to all interested divers?

Thanks, Malcolm.
