Diving with side mounts

As mentioned in my Intro to Cave course thread, I really enjoy diving side mounted main gas and Malcolm kindly offered up how he rigs his kit.

Is anyone else up for describing/explaining how you set up your side mounts, with photos if possible, and also what you do if diving side mounted in OW (like how to rig up a wing and stage)
I'm considering Martyns harness although I'm not sure it's best for my short back as I had some probs at the back of the neck
All input would be appreciated

Also, while we're at it, I'm keen to start cave diving in France and Ireland so are there any suitable for someone with Intro to Cave but not Full Cave yet?

Thanks in anticipation (but not shivering like Brad & Janet )

There was a guy in Mexico using the Dive Rite system. I quite fancy giving it a go as I've already got most of the kit, i.e. a Transpac and a suitable wing (Trek).

He had good trim with a couple of Ali 80s on it.

Yeah, I wondered about that a while ago and have a Transpac but fear it's too old as nothing is adjustable. Of course they have brought Nomad out since then
Pretty much looks like the Golem Gear Armadillo

You can buy all the add ons for the Dive Rite set up (ie not buying the Nomad) I'd be interested to see how you like it. When do you think you'll try it and where?

Not sure. Doubt it will be any time soon. Perhaps a winter project in a muddy puddle. Sidemount set ups usually take a lot of configuring.

Go and talk to the Cave Diving Group. They do proper side-mounted cave diving like what hard men do, not scootering down sewer pipes for 3 miles listening to MP3 players.

All I can say is that if you are going for proper penetration then surely front or back mounted is much easier?
