Underwater rambling Lot 2008

A few pictures from a visit to the Lot last week of June and first of July. A few of us turned up to play.

Base room for 12 and with six staying a good amount of room.

Away from the madding crowd, caves with sumps at the bottom can be found that are worth looking at.

We were lucky in that we had good weather up to 32C some days and it was dry a week before we arrived so the vis was Ok. On the last day there was a big storm and it has been raining on and off since.

By the time I got back to Lynne & Dave's (last time I stay there, far too far away from anything and gone pricey!) it was 7'ish, I was knackered and I couldn't be arsed driving all the way across again as I was planning on an early start north the next day. In the end, I ended up going for a mooch about the next day to the west of Cahors and found two very nice big blue springs, both in private gardens, both with particularly unfriendly owners.
