I recently completed the Intro to Cave course with Mr Farr. However before I go on and dothe full cave course I'm l feel the need in trying some easy caven/cave sites around the UK. Where does one go to practice your skills in the UK?
Thanks

Wouldn't you have done some cave diving between the 2 courses?
I don't see how someone could do full cave or even half cave without having any experience? How'd you know you even enjoy diving in an OE if you haven't done anything outside of a course?

Intro to cave is the 2nd course, intro to cavern being the first?
Craig Vaughan
but you can combine the two...... so he might never of gone into a cave before....
Fair comment, could have.
Not trying to start an argument, I would just find it odd someone who would have done cave1... then cave2 and was then already considering cave3 without actually have done any of his own diving yet.
Do you disagree?
Craig Vaughan
Please remember experience counts more than courses.
The cavern course is an introduction to diving in an overhead environment, and the use of reels and helmet mounted lights.
Intro Cave covers using side mounted cylinders,
Full cave involves side mounts line laying and different techniques for anchoring lines plus lots of problem solving.
