| Ian I was there in November for a couple of weeks. Steve Gerrard is a very well acomplished cave diver/instructor/explorer etc. but there is some "diving politics" going on down there (like in Florida too) and you need to carefully choose who to train with, depending on your objectives. My cave diving buddy took his cave class with Steve G back in '95 but things have moved on a bit since then. PM me by all means if you need any specific info. about cave diving in Yucatan.
