| Thanks everyone for your mesages of support. I had a great time. OK so I'm not the worlds fastest runner but I don't care. My aim was to get under 6 hours which I did. I actually ran an hour quicker than last time (2005) This is my breakdown if anyone is interested Name HUNTER, MARIANNE J (GBR) Runner No.: 51753 Club Age group W45 TIMES 5 km 0:39:35 10 km 1:17:36 15 km 1:55:38 20 km 2:35:11 half 2:43:51 25 km 3:16:55 30 km 4:00:59 35 km 4:50:41 40 km 5:35:03 finish 5:52:16 TOTAL Position (overall) 32029 Position (gender) 9413 Position (age group) 983 Finish time 5:52:16 I set out real slow as planned and ran to 14 miles without stopping. I then struggled so ran and walked a few miles. Then got running again for the last few miles. Apart from some very attractive black toes nails I seem to have got off lightly. No blisters just some aching muscles. Not sure I'll be able to move in the morning. I need to say a huge thank you to John (Jonny200) who trained me both for Tough Guy and London. He worked really hard getting my training plans right and had to endure a lot of whinging from me. Also thanks to Skilly (Divermedic) Yas (Yazzyfooty) and Lee (Diving Moose) who have all been there for me. And thanks to everyone who has sponsored me. If you haven't already paid up now would be a good time to do so. ![]()
