CCR and deco programme

To plan my OC dives both air and trimix I use Proplanner and to check I use Deco Planner. What you guys use and for what type of dives, duration and mixes eg. Proplanner/40m depth/30min bottom time/air diluent/RT 90min!! Does the programme you use has OC bail out in it?

Regards

Pierre

Only just getting into it so don’t know that much yet but Vplanner looks very CCR friendly. I just registered it and have started playing. I haven’t figured out a couple of bits yet but I am getting there. Deco compared to Deco planner is scary short

Vplanner exclusively.

I like the profile very much with a nice gradual ascent curve starting deep and less on the shallow stops

I generally use trimix as dilutant on every dive and generally plan a slow ascent to the first deep stop 8m/min and other than that dont modify the VPM-B plan.

I stopped using Buhlman based deco schedules even those with deep stops like the VR3 cos I found VPM-B got me out of the water faster and feeling a heck of a lot better. To get the same feeling using Buhlman I would have to piss about modifying the plan all the time. I stopped using the VR3 as I didnt like the way it does the deep stops and after taking a minor undeserved hit using it(like many VR3 CCR Trimix divers seam to do)

Vplanner can give you OC bailout no problem

90 mins RT seems a bit long for me.

I would be happy to use;

V-Planner 3.32 by R. Hemingway, VPM code by Erik C. Baker.

Decompression model: VPM-B

DIVE PLAN
Surface interval = 2 day 0 hr 0 min.
Elevation = 0m
Conservatism = + 3

Dec to 40m (2) on Diluent Air, 0.70 SetPoint, 20m/min descent.
Level 40m 28:00 (30) on Diluent Air, 1.20 SetPoint, 38m ead
Asc to 18m (32) on Diluent Air, 1.20 SetPoint, -10m/min ascent.
Stop at 18m 0:48 (33) on Diluent Air, 1.20 SetPoint, 10m ead
Stop at 15m 2:00 (35) on Diluent Air, 1.20 SetPoint, 7m ead
Stop at 12m 2:00 (37) on Diluent Air, 1.20 SetPoint, 3m ead
Stop at 9m 4:00 (41) on Diluent Air, 1.20 SetPoint, 0m ead
Stop at 6m 3:00 (44) on Diluent Air, 1.20 SetPoint, 0m ead
Stop at 4m 9:00 (53) on Diluent Air, 1.20 SetPoint, 0m ead
Asc to sfc. (53) on Diluent Air, -10m/min ascent.

Off gassing starts at 27.4m

OTU's this dive: 69
CNS Total: 24.5%

I normally do a 1m/min ascent from last stop to surface

Given the choice I wouldnt do a 40m dive with air dil, helium is cheap on CCR.

Wrote my own - trimix to any depth. Has OC bailout and auto gas switching for ascent. Calculates the amount of bailout you need based upon depth, SAC etc.
