I haven't noticed WOB being dramatically different in backmounted lungs on my RB, the Mk15.5 or Draeger. I did notice it though on a copy of the RB80 which was not a pleasant breathe, but then the counterlung is quite low down.

I much prefer mine out of the way and protected than in front of me.

If it's glare from the lime green counterlungs - try some sunglasses

Maybe a little off topic but here it goes, last week I tried a Big Eyes mask ans was astonished how much more you can see when looking down, and tought that this good be a good thing with a RB what you think?

I have one.
The big loop hose gets in the way so you don't get the benefits you hope for as you can't see down.

I didn't know you were taking orders

Do you mean that you are modding the Meg, or the manufacturer (whose name escapes me temporarily) is modding it?

The manufacturer is in conjunction with some Bahaman cave divers. They are going to use a single counterlung.

This is the breather that stole my idea before I had it. Well, we'll see how the design pans out, because mine is very similar to this from the point of view of where everything is, but obviously no hammerhead on my little puppy!
