Which CCR?

If its the AP Valves one down load the Manual free over the net. It was the most helpfull book I read.

Actualy its not a bad read for any ECCR.

What unit?

If it's the Inspiration/Evolution it's best to read the APD Manual that you can download from their web site.

http://www.apdiving.com/downloads/manuals/

I also found the "Rebreather Quiz by Fred Buckingham" useful to do once you've read a bit. It's available on their web site under Downloads/Useful downloads.

That'l be a first dave, you're only going ccr cos you've been told you can talk underwater while using it Where are you going to be doing the course?
I should be in your neck of the woods in a couple of weeks, I'll see if I can fit a splash in your muddy muddle in to my weekend

Thumbs up

a really good book rather than a manual is MASTERING REBREATHERS by jeffrey e. bozanic,
it a very good refferance book that covers many types of rebreather, rather than the unit specific manuals.
you can get it from aqua press

kindest regards john routley
