Reasons to trust Juz on bailout...

I would like to post a couple of things which I feel the wider world needs to know, after a short chat with Il Juzzo. He knows not the way of the bailout, and has not learnt from his Jedi master. This is not the bailout you are looking for....

Quote Juz:
"There aren't many buddies I trust implicitly, but you [Digger] are one of them." - lovely, what a guy. You should see the list of people he didn't put on the implicit list!

Quote Juz:
"An ally 7 is about the same size as a steel 12." ??? I think he got a bit confused.

Quote Juz:
"You can get out off an 80m dive with 2 AL80s (bailout). One full of bottom mix and one full of 32%." - Seriously, someone do the sums, because largely I'm a bit tired and it will be more fun to see how much deco would be left when he runs out of gas, given a sensible bottom time. 20 minutes on the bottom sound resonable? Someone run the sums please...

It is my assertion that 50% or 80% would be more sensible. I get the feeling I'd get out of the water less bent, but have little to prove it other than how it feels numbers-wise, and a lot of tables and a VR3.

The root of all of this comes down to this. I need to work out what bailout to carry. I know what would be nice, but it doesn't quite fit, and on any decent dives I end up having to carry 3 tanks. Which is no good IMO. I can no longer accept Juz's advice or trust him, despite being my evil twin, so any suggestions much appreciated. I've thought it through and changed my mind so many times it's not even funny any more. I have 4 tanks now available, and I want to get them filled once. Or at least once a season or so. Dives from 35m to 80m. 2 x AL80 and 2 x AL60. Oh the numbers...

Digs.

Ok, so I trust Digger - anyone that has dived wth him will I think agree, no matter how foolish his topside behaviour is!

Utter lie! I said that your new AL60 (ally 8.5) must be about the same size as a steel 12 becasue you were calling it a 'little tank'.

I'll run some now - but I said I'd do a max of 17 mins at 80m

PS - I would not advise diving 100/100 - that was Digger's idea!

Does thios bit mean that you go from 80m to 50m in 1 minute?[1] If your coming up that fast how do you stop yourself from being launched into orbit?

No, it's a one minute stop at 30m.

The next number - 28min is the run time.

Ah, so 8mins from 80 to 30, that makes more sense. Not that I should be sticking my nose in here, I've to progress to 35m yet

Thanks Juz.
