Not sure about it, does sound a little to hyped up to be honest. You'd hope someone looking for a rebreather would of done the home work.

i wonder if he'll accept payment on collection.

can't remember how much the Meg is new, was a while ago i looked.

Yes, I understand about hijacked accounts, etc, but if you are going to buy something at that value then you're going to collect it, right?

Haha. I wasn't necessarily suspicious until he said that he'd had the switch gold plated and it was from Kings Lynn - seemed too close to the one which was recently done on one of our Brethren on an inspo.

Of course, if it's all legit then so be it!

He has been selling loads of diving stuff including items for the Meg.

However I wonder who the two guys on the boat are in the picture because another selling is also using the same one, although they could just have been on the same boat.

Seen quite a few ads on Ebay that use someone else's pic. Even had one of my pics lifted to advertise someone elses item. Cheeky b***ers! Ebay don't give a stuff about it.

I have just reviewed this sellers past dealings and he seems to be selling a variety of stuff including diving equipment. Hes had 1 negative feedback within a year which is classed as good.
I am sure no one would send payment prior to receiving it but surely if someone wants a rebreather bad enough they will go down in person to check it out?

I reckon if you called Chris Hutchinson he would be able to let you know who this seller is- Chris does his Meg courses in the Red Sea so I have a feeling he might know who is selling their unit.... The R/b dive community is still small and those on Megs is very small. It can't be that difficult to verify who the seller is!
